Spirit Lake, IA (KICD) — Information is released on a traffic stop, resulting in a drug arrest.

On the evening of April 24th, the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle in the 2900 block of Highway 9. The driver, 57-year old Scott Sternitzke of Okoboji, was arrested after a subsequent search of the vehicle turned up marijuana.

Sternitzke was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and failure to affix a drug tax stamp, both class D felonies, along with two traffic violations.

The case remains under investigation and more arrests are expected.
