Highway 60 Motorcycle Crash

Worthington, MN (KICD) — A Minnesota man is injured after striking a deer with his motorcycle.

The Minnesota State Patrol said the accident occured shortly before 5 Tuesday afternoon. 56-year old Frank Scherf of Cohasset was driving a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle on highway 60 south of Worthington. A deer ran out in the road and Sherf was unable to avoid a collision.

Sherf was injured in a crash and taken to the hospital for treatment. Assisting at the scene was the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office.
