Highway 60 Accident


Orange City, IA (KICD) — Several are injured in a two vehicle accident on Highway 60.

The Osceola County Sheriffs Office said the accident happened Monday, as 64-year old Alan VanBeek of Orange City was eastbound on 210th Street in a 2011 Ford Ranger, and failed to stop at the intersection with Highway 60.

The Pickup was then broadsided by a 2006 Volkswagon, driven by 32-year old Erick Chavez Gallegos of Worthington. There were multiple injuries in the accident, although the severities were immediately unknown

. Assisting at the scene was the Sibley Ambulance, Sibley Fire & Rescue, Ashton Ambulance, Ashton Fire & Rescue, Little Rock Ambulance, and George Rescue.
