Highway 60 Accident

Worthington, MN (KICD) — A Worthington man is injured in a two vehicle accident.

The Minnesota State Patrol said the accident happened as thunderstorms were occuring north of Worthington, on highway 60 near Brewster. 25-year old Collin Powell of San Tan Valley Arizona was driving a 2014 Freightliner semi westbound on highway 60. Wind blew the semi into the 2001 Honda drivin by 41-year old Armando Nava.

Nava received non-life threatening injuries, and was taken to the Worthington Hospital by ambulance. Powell was not injured. Assisting was the Nobles and Jackson County Sheriffs Offices, Brewster Fire Department and the Minnesota DNR.
