Spencer, IA (KICD) — It’s time to submit nominees for the Heroes of the Heartland.

Each year the Red Cross honors heroes for their bravery and their willingness to help others. In recent years, heroes have been recognized for saving their neighbors during house fires, performing CPR to strangers in stores or for their outstanding work in their communities.

Nominations must be submitted by January 22nd, and should include all of the requested contact information, a description explaining why the recognition is deserved, and supporting documets such as news articles and photographs. Elliot tells how to submit nominations…

Heroic events that the nomninations are for, must have occurred between February 1st, 2015 and January 21st, 2016.
