Hartley House Fire

Hartley, IA (KICD) — Firefighters battled a house fire east of Hartley.
The Hartley Fire Department was called out around 3:30 Tuesday morning, to a house fire approximately 2 and a half miles east of Hartley, on Highway 18.   Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a house filled with fire,   According to Hartley Fire Chief Curt Stoltz, all the residents of the house got out , and no one was injured.
The origin of the fire was believed to possibly be a heat lamp that was being used to keep pets warm, on the porch.
The house received significant damage from the fire.  Investigators were on the scene today trying to determine the official cause of the fire.
