Grussing Running For Iowa House

Armstrong, IA (KICD)–An Armstrong native has entered the race for State Representative in House District 7.
Democrat Dave Grussing tells KICD News that he grew up in Estherville and is a graduate of Armstrong Community High School, Iowa Lakes Community College, and Iowa State University.  He then went on to serve in the US Army and Army Reserves for 28 years and has also worked as a police officer in Estherville and Oklahoma.

Grussing says if elected he would propose an income tax abate for small businesses that create jobs in rural Iowa.

Grussing believes his Police and Military background will help him reach across the aisle.

House District 7, includes Emmet County, Winnebago County, and part of Kossuth County including Algona.  The incumbent in the district is Republican Ted Gassman of Scarville.
