Graettinger Assault

Graettinger, IA (KICD) — An Estherville man has been charged with assault.

On Saturday night the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was called to a Graettinger home to a report of a man breaking into a house, assaulting those inside with a baseball bat and then leaving.

The suspect, 23-year old James Clark, turned himself in today (Thursday) on a class B Felony count of 1st degree burglary, a class D felony count of going armed with intent to cause injury and assault.

Clark was held in Palo Alto County Jail on a $25,000 cash bond where he awaits a initial appearance before a judge.
