Sanborn, IA (KICD) — A Sanborn facility receives an award.

Governor Terry Branstad was in Sanborn Thursday afternoon to present Prairie View Home with a 2014 Governor’s Award for Quality Care Facilities. There were three nominations for the facility sent to the Governor’s Office, which gave Prairie View and it’s staff honors for their service to the residents, and the care given.

Governor Branstad presented the award to Prairie View Administrator Wendy Nelson, then congratulated her and the staff. There were only 3 facilities across the state that got the award.
