Governor Branstad Visits With KICD

Spencer, IA (KICD)–Iowa Governor Terry Branstad was George Bower’s guest on Newsradio 1240 KICD this morning where the topic of student success was addressed.

The governor also said DON’T start spending the estimated 900 million dollar budget surplus yet.

Branstad says a looming problem for the state is funding highway constuction and maintenence which is now paid for with the tax on fuel.

Governor Terry Branstad visited Thurday morning on KICD’s George Bower Show.
