Spencer, IA (KICD) — The Clay County Fair announces their midway entertainment.

Fair Manager Jeremy Parsons says that Gold Star will bring more than 30 rides to the Fair, including a new ride in 2014, the Gravitron. New highlights for this year’s Fair include a smoke-free Kiddieland featuring rides for the younger thrill seekers. “I know our youngest fairgoers and their parents will find this to be a welcome change,” said Parsons.

As always, kids 18 and under receive free gate admission on September 12th. This year, a Kids Day wristband will be available for $19. Free admission to the Fair will also be available September 9th after 5:00pm as part of the Spencer Chamber Family Night with 10 rides for $15.

Wristbands can be purchased in advance. All Day Wristbands valid on weekends (Sept. 6th, 7th, 13th and 14th) are $22 in advance and $25 at the Fair. September 8th-11th enjoy 10 rides for only $15. VIP Wristbands for all 9 days of the Fair are $49 in advance and $55 at the Fair.

Purchase advance wristbands at participating Godfather’s Pizza Restaurants, at the Grandstand Ticket Office, or online at www.claycountyfair.com.
