Fostoria, IA (KICD) — A Fostoria woman was jailed on arson charges.

The Clay County Sheriffs Office arrested 38-year old Montana Wells in Spencer Wednesday. The arrest was due to an incident in Fostoria Tuesday, where Wells poured gasoline on her ex-boyfriend, and on the outside and inside of his residence.

She then tried to start the victim and the house on fire, with a lit cigarette. Wells was officially charged with 3rd Degree Arson, and Aggravated Assault.
