Fostoria Accident

Fostoria, IA (KICD)–A Fostoria accident landed two in the hospital Tuesday afternoon.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 33-year-old Amber Nelson was traveling northbound on Highway 71 in a Kia Sol shortly before 4:45 p.m. 20-year-old Dakota Peters of Dickens entered the roadway traveling east on 280th Street and caused a collision.

Peters and two passengers were taken to Spencer Municipal Hospital where they were treated and released. Nelson refused medical assistance at the scene. Peters was cited for failure to yield the right of way.

Fostoria Fire and Rescue assisted on scene.
