Fonda Boil Advisory

Fonda, IA ((KICD) — The city of Fonda has issued a water boil advisory.
It was announced by the City of Fonda and the DNR Wednesday afternoon, the customers of the Fonda Water Supply need to boil their water before using until further notice, as the city had to shut down the water system, to make repairs.  That resulted in the loss of pressure to some of the system, which can allow bacteria and other substances to enter the water system.
Repairs to the system have been made, and water has been taken to the lab for testing..  Anyone with questions may contact city hall at 712-288-4466, or John Kelly at 712-749-0352
