Fireworks Ban Reminder

Spencer, IA (KICD)– Spencer’s Police Chief is stressing being courteous and safety for the 4th of July weekend.

Mark Warburton tells KICD News what is legal in Iowa.

Warburton says that using or exploding fireworks is a crime which carries a fine of no less than $250.

Warburton says they usually receive dozens of fireworks complaints each year.
