Fatal Motorcycle Accident In Pocahontas County

Gilmore City, IA (KICD)–A Pocahontas man was killed after being thrown from his motorcycle on Friday night.
Pocahontas County Sheriff Bob Lampe says 57-year-old John Lubinus failed to negotiate a right hand curve on Pilot Creek Road, roughly five miles north of Gilmore City.  After hitting the ditch Lubinus was thrown from his bike around 9:44 p.m.
Lubinus was pronounced dead at the scene.
