Farm Safety Camp For Youth Coming In April


Spencer, IA: (Mar. 28, 2014) – There will be a farm safety event for area youth in early Arpil.

Clay County Extension and the Clay Central-Everly FFA are sponsoring “Farm Frenzy,” a half-day farm safety session on Saturday, April 12th aimed at educating area youth about dangers on the farm.
Coordinator Al Grigg says there is a need for such a program.

Safety sessions will address safety around grain handling equipment, PTO safety, and how to safely operate skid loaders and all-terrain vehicles, or ATV’s. Grigg says the event is open to all youth.
