Everly, IA (KICD)–An Everly couple has been jailed following the execution of a search warrant Wednesday by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.

An arrest warrant check on 50-year-old Bryan Nei at 107 East 3rd St. in Everly stemmed from information received from the Kingsbury County Sheriff s Office in South Dakota The warrant was for failing to appear for jury trial on the original charges of Petty Theft, 4 counts of Grand Theft, 2 Counts of Embezzlement of Property Received in Trust, and Habitual Offender-Prior Crime Violence. He was held in the Clay County Jail on a $50,000 cash bond and is awaiting extradition to South Dakota

Nei s wife, 28-year-old Angel Nei, provided false information to Deputies and was also placed under arrest. She was released after posting a $300 cash bond.
