Estherville House Fire


Estherville, IA (KICD) — Firefighters battled an apartment complex fire.
  Around 3:15 Friday afternoon, Estherville Fire was paged out to a house fire at 703 2nd Ave S. Upon arrival, firefighters found the attic area of a three apratment complex full of flames.  the complex is owned by Jeff Juergens, and was occupied by Gordon Lucas, Nelda Macias, and Tomas Garcia, who all got out safely.
  The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and the Fire Department was on scene for about 2.5 hours.  Assisting on site was the Estherville Police, Estherville Ambulance, Emmet County EMS director and Wallingford Fire Department.
