Storm Lake, IA (KICD) – Four people are arrested after police search a residence.
  Storm Lake Police responded Friday evening to a call in the 800 block of West 6th Street. Officer saw several people inside the apartment smoking marjuana, the then contacted the resident, 25-year old Brady Meylor. Others at the apartment included 20-year old Deon Parkhurst and 26-year old Jesse Boger, both of Storm Lake, along with 26-year old Ryan Courtier of Lakeside.

A short while later, officers searched the apartment, finding marijuana, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia, packaging materials, a scale and a .22 caliber and .410 caliber combination rifle..

As a result, Meylor was charged with a felony possession of a schedule 2 controlled substance, 3rd offense, possession of a prescription drug 3rd offense, gathering where a controlled substance is used and possession of drug paraphernalia.  He was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a $9300 bail.

  Boger, Parkhurst and Deon were all charged with possession of a controlled substance, gathering where a controlled substance is used and possession of drug paraphernalia, were jailed and then released after posting $2300 bails.
