Emmetsburg, IA (KICD) — An area district associate judge is retiring.

McNeill says that before being a district associate judge, he spent many years in different positions…

 Judge Bormann and his family lived in Ruthven when he was appointed to the bench in July 2000.  He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Iowa State Bar Association, and the Palo Alto County Bar Association. He is married and has three children.  Judge Bormann will retire effective Feb. 24, 2014. The public is invited to the reception.
The court is hosting a public retirement reception on February 13th from 2 to 4 pm at the Palo Alto County Courthouse to honor retiring District Associate Judge Donald J Bormann.
