Dickinson County Audit

Des Moines, IA (KICD) — The 2013 audit for Dickinson County has been released by the state.

The County had local tax revenue of $47.1 million for the year and forwarded $38.9 million of the local tax revenue to the townships, school districts, cities and other taxing bodies in the County.

The County retained $8.25 million of the local tax revenue to finance County operations, a 7.5% increase over the prior year.

Expenses for Dickinson County operations for the year ended June 30, 2013 totaled $13.6 million, a 3.8% decrease from the prior year.
