Spencer, IA (KICD)–Three Kansas men were arrested following a Tuesday afternoon stop for a speed and registration violation.
An occupant of the vehicle, 29-year-old Christopher Shadden, provided false identification information to a Clay County Deputy in an attempt to hide his true identity. He was wanted out of South Carolina for aggravated assault and was placed under arrest for providing false identification information to a Peace Officer.
A substance believed to be marijuana was located in the vehicle. 62-year-old Alfred Rose and 26-year-old Derek Shadden were then charged with possession of a controlled substance.
All three subjects were transported to and booked into the Clay County Jail. They were held to appear before the Magistrate.
