Clay County Disaster Declaration Impact

Spencer, IA (KICD)– A Presidential Disaster Declaration was approved for the majority of Counties in the KICD listening area last week.

Clay County Emergency Management Director Eric Tigges tells KICD News that he met with FEMA officials as they prepared to make a decision on the declaration.

A Presidential Disaster Declaration, State Disaster Declaration, and the Iowa Individual Assistance Program has been activated for Clay and all other counties in the KICD listening area except for O’Brien.
