CCF Workers Needed

Spencer, IA (KICD)–Those looking to make a few extra bucks can work at the Clay County Fair.

Bob Becker tells KICD News that anyone looking for the temporary gig can sign up now at the Iowa Workforce Development office in Spencer.

A temporary Workforce Center will open Tuesday, September 2 on the fairgrounds. That office is located at the north end of the information booth, just south of the Grandstand at the intersection of 2ne Avenue and 5th Street on the fairgrounds.

Full time and part time work is available on day or evening shifts. Applicants should expect to work long hours and may be standing on their feet for 8-10 hours per day in non-air-conditioned or heated facilities, and may work at outdoor exhibits.
