CCF Queen Wins State Fair Queen Crown

Des Moines, IA (KICD)–The 50th annual Iowa State Fair Queen hails from Spencer.

Elizabeth Glover tells KICD News it was a shock to hear her name called on Saturday night.

The daughter of Louis and Lois Glover of Spencer, Elizabeth was chosen out of the 102 contestants who participated in this year’s competition.

Glover receives a $2,800 scholarship from the Iowa State Fair in addition to her crown, sash and trophy. She encourages everyone to come and meet her all week at the Iowa State Fair.

Amber Neisius of Cherokee County was named 2nd runner-up.
