CCF Presents: Guy Lombardo’s Royal Canadians with Al Pierson

Spencer, IA (KICD)–The 2014 Clay County Fair will feature a performance by  one of the most famous big bands in the world on Senior Day.

Guy Lombardo’s Royal Canadians with Al Pierson will perform in the air-conditioned ballroom at the Events Center Tuesday, September 9th at 2:00 p.m.   Founded in 1919, Guy Lombardo’s Royal Canadians is the longest running dance orchestra in the world with over 500 hit songs to its credit – more than any other orchestra in the world.  Since Lombardo’s first television show in 1954, this orchestra has played for more than 1.5 billion viewers, making a New Year’s tradition out of the Scottish ballad “Auld Lang Syne.”  They have sold over 500 million albums.
