CCF Kickoff Held

Spencer, IA (KICD)–$8,700 was raised as the Clay County Fair hosted a kick-off dessert-on-a-stick & benefit auction on Tuesday night.

Fair Manager Jeremy Parsons gave the crowd information on a number of new items for this year and ongoing upgrades, including the addition of 55,000 square feet of new exhibit space by Gate C at the fairgrounds.

Parsons also talked about the new POET Discovery Stage, which will be located in the north end of the stables building.

Fair and Show Ring Ambassadors will also be roaming the fairgrounds this year.

Family night at the 2014 Clay County Fair will be held on Tuesday, September 9th with free admission to everyone after 5:00 p.m.

All of the $8,700 raised will go towards upgrades on the Fairgrounds.
