Royal, IA (KICD)– The Clay Central Everly School Board approved the master contract with the district last evening.
Superintendent Dennis McClain tells KICD News the pact includes a 3.57 percent raise for certified staff.
A 3 percent increase in hourly wages for support staff was also approved last night.
McClain says the district has joined the Iowa Association for Educational Purchasing to help with the lunch program.
The board also received an update stating door cameras at the Royal building will be installed this Summer work is underway on replacing a number of doors in both district buildings.
