BVU Dorm Burglar Caught

Storm Lake, IA (KICD)–A North Carolina man has been arrested for burglarizing 7 dorm rooms on the first floor of Pierce Hall at Buena Vista University.

Cash, personal items and credit cards were reported stolen from the dorm rooms late Sunday and early Monday morning. One of the stolen cards was used at area stores and Police received images of the suspect and the vehicle he used at Wal-Mart.

After further investigation 18-year-old Justin Todd was charged with 7 class D felony counts of Burglary, 4 counts of Unauthorized Use of a Credit Card, a class D felony count of Forgery, and Possession of Alcohol.
