Attempted Murder Trial Moved

Primghar, IA (KICD) — The trial for a man charged with attempted murder has been moved.

26-year old Andrew Zeitler is accused of allegedly shooting a man several times during a dispute in Kossuth County, back in July 2013. He is also charged with going armed with intent. He was arrested after a 3 hour manhunt that ended in a cornfield near Corwith.

In November 2013, a change of venue was granted for the case, so it will take place in July, in O’Brien County. A pretrial hearing is set for June 23rd, at 9:30-am, and a ┬áplea negotiation deadline was also set for July 1st.
