Arnolds Park Mayoral Search

Arnolds Park Mayoral Search

Arnolds Park, IA (KICD)–The city of Arnolds Park is on the lookout for a new Mayor following the recent resignation by Mike Mitchell.

City Administrator Ron Walker tells KICD News that Mitchell’s resignation letter noted he was moving from the area due to circumstances beyond his control.

The search for a new Mayor is now underway.

Walker says the council will likely make an appointment in the middle of the month. At that point the public has an option to call for an election if they so choose.

The open Arnolds Park Mayoral term runs through the end of 2015.
