Armstrong Man Charged


  Armstrong, IA (KICD) — An Armstrong man is charged in a burglary incident.
  In Emmet County District Court this week, Chad Frietag received the charges of 3rd degree burglary and 2nd degree theft, both class D felonies, along with 3rd degree criminal mischief..  Those charges stem from an incident that occurred March 1st, where Frietag entered a residence at 402 4th Avenue in Armstrong, and removed a flat screen tv, valued at $1500.  A door to the residence was damaged in the break in.
  According to online court records, Frietag confessed to commiting the crime in court.  He waived his right to a preliminary hearing and is being held on a $2000 cash only bond.
