Primghar, IA (KICD) — A Tuesday accident results in possible injuries to a Paullina woman.
  The O’Brien County Sheriffs Office said the accident occurred around 7:25-am.  A 2000 Chevy pickup, driven by 44-year old Doyle Logan of Primghar was eastbound on 1st Street NE, and approached an uncontrolled intersection in the square by the Courthouse.  At that time, a 2012 Dodge Challenger, driven by 43-year old Melanie Yates, was northbound approaching the same intersection.
  Logan failed to yield to the right of way, and struck the Dodge in the drivers side, causing the air bags to deploy, and the vehicle to spin out and striking a fire hydrant at the intersection.  Yates received possible injuries in the accident, while Logan was uninjured.
  The Dodge was totalled in the accident, while the Chevy received $2000 in damage.
Emmetsburg, IA (KICD) — A late Monday evening rollover injures two.
  The Palo Alto County Sheriffs Office received a call of a vehicle on its side in the 4300 block of Highway 18.  Following an investigation, it was determined, Kerri Essing of Emmetsburg was eastbound in a 1998 Ford Explorer, when the right side tires slipped off the roadway.  Essing lost control of her vehicle trying to correct, and went into the north ditch, with the Exploring rolling over
  Essing and a passenger were taken by ambulance to the Palo Alto County Hospital for minor injuries.  The Explorer was totalled, and Essing was cited for Failure To Maintain Control.
Emmetsburg, IA (KICD) — The Palo Alto County Sheriffs Office is searching for a vehicle involved in a hit and run.
  Around 3:10 Monday afternoon, a 2 vehicle accident occurred about a half mile west of Emmetsburg, on Highway 18.  A 2010 Ford F-250 pickup, pulling a fertilizer cart, driven by 38-year old Gerad Puterbaugh, of Cavour South Dakota was westbound.
  Puterbaugh crossed the bridge, then as a westbound semi crossed the bridge, it struck the pickup.  Puterbaugh received minor injuries in the accident, but declined medical attention.  The pickup received $10,000 in damages, while the fertilizer cart had $6000 in damages, while the bridge had $1500 damage.  The semi didn’t stop after the collision, continuing westward.  It is described as a red semi pulling a grain trailer.
 Emmetsburg, IA (KICD) — Two are injured in a single vehicle rollover.
  The Palo Alto County Sheriffs Office said shortly after 5pm Tuesday, a one vehicle accident occurred in the 5000 block of Highway 18.  A 2003 Mazda, driven by Ryan Behnkendorf was eastbound, when the right side tires went off the edge of the highway.  As Behnkendorf tried to correct, he lost control of the Mazda, sliding into the south ditch, into a creek and rolling before coming to rest.
  Behnkendorf and a passenger were taken by ambulance to Palo Alto County Hospital.  The Mazda was totalled.  Behnkendorf was cited for Failure To Maintain Control.
