Rolfe, IA (KICD) — A Rolfe man is injured after crashing his vehicle.

The Kossuth County Sheriffs Department says last Tuesday, 26-year old Bradley Kent was going east on 120th Street, when he came to a T-intersection that wasn’t properly marked. He couldn’t stop or turn the vehicle, which then went into a farm field.

Kent got out of the vehicle, and walked to a nearby farm. He was taken to Kossuth Regional Health Center for his injuries.

There were no citations inssued.

 

Alpha, MN (KICD) — Two are injured in a two vehicle accident.

The Jackson County Sheriffs Office said the accident happened around 7:45 Friday morning on County Road 29. 20-year old Cole Mace of Estherville was driving a 2001 Ford pickup north, when he failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection of County Road 34.

The pickup then collided with a westbound 2005 Dodge Caravan, driven by 33-year old Jessica Pierce of Fairmont. Pierce, along with an unidentified passenger in the pickup were taken to the Sanford Jackson Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
