Spencer, IA: Apr. 14, 2014 РAlbert City-based Ag Partners is planning a major expansion of the company’s UAN liquid fertilizer storage facility at Albert City.

The expansion will replace the existing 28 percent UAN storage and increase the 32 percent storage at Albert City to over 2.5 million gallons. The new UAN tank will have a capacity of 1.5 million gallons and is the largest single tank in Ag Partners history.

Vice President of Crop Nutrients Steve Betts says the project will also fund upgrades to the existing chemical blend plant.

Betts says construction will begin in a few weeks, and the project is expected to be completed this fall.
