4-H Hall Of Fame Nominations Due

Spencer, IA: (Apr. 29, 2014) – Clay County 4-H is seeking nominations for the 2014 Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame inductee.

Bonnie Dalager, Iowa State University Extension Director for Clay County, says the Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame honors volunteers, supporters and others who have made a significant contribution to the Iowa 4-H Youth Development Program.

Dalager says more than 400 volunteers in Clay County each year guide 4-H members in becoming productive citizens. She says 4-H programs in Clay County touch more than one in every four Clay County K-12 youth.

Nominations are due by May 1st. Dalager says more information is available at the Clay County Extension office.
