#2 Pederson Park Lighting Issues

Spencer, IA (KICD)– Lighting infrastructure at Pederson Park that hasn’t been updated since the 1960’s is in the crosshairs of the Spencer Park board.

Parks Director Delray Bredehoft tells KICD News that there are currently 7 transformers and the park is the only place SMU uses transformers.

Bredehoft says Many individuals utilize the fields including over 700 who are involved in youth leagues.

The project likely be done in phases with the city looking at any and all grants possible to subsidize the project.
