Parenting in an iPhone age: Toddlers love ‘selfies’

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Parents in today’s high-tech world know that toddlers love grabbing the iPhone — especially when it’s to take pictures of themselves.

Toddlers aren’t the only ones snapping away: It’s not unusual for doting parents to take thousands of cellphone pictures.

These may keep distant grandparents happy, but it’s not clear how the barrage of self-love will affect members of the first truly “smartphone generation” in the long run.

Like any other fun thing kids get obsessed with, too much of it can be bad.
