Walk to End Alzheimer’s
Spencer, IA (KICD)–The Iowa Great Lakes Walk to End Alzheimer’s is slated for this Sunday in Spencer.
Alzheimer’s Association Director of Development Terri Schroeder tells KICD News that the 1-3 mile walk is all about those affected by Alzheimer’s who would like to see an end of the disease.
There is no surefire way to combat Alzheimer’s, but eating healthy and exercising helps.
Everyone who takes part in the walk gets a different colored flower.
Registration for Sunday’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s starts at 1:00 at Leach Park in Spencer with the walk to start at 2:00.
