Spencer, IA (KICD)–Abben Cancer Center of Spencer Hospital is hosting a Survivors’ Day Celebration on Tuesday.

Hospital Vice President of Marketing and Fund Development Susan Zulk tells KICD News that this year’s event will have a focus on refreshing, renewing and unwinding, and will focus around the cancer patient.

Participants will learn creative ways to cope with cancer through yoga, meditation, massage and arts and crafts – all while the soft strumming of a harp creates a relaxed mood.

Tuesday’s Survivors’ Day Celebration is for all cancer survivors, their family members, friends and caregivers in the community. The celebration takes place from 4:30-6:30 in the lower level conference center of Spencer Hospital.
