Storm Lake, IA (KICD) — A Storm Lake man faces numerous charges and awaits extradtion.
On Wednesday morning, Storm Lake Police were dispatched in reference to a domestic assault.
Upon arrival, police met with the reporting party who said her boyfriend, 33-year old Jacquese Mallory, had allegedly physically assaulted her causing a minor injury.
Police were advised that Mallory had gone to work, and then they went to his place of employment, taking Mallory into custody without incident.
A police officer who arrested Mallory recognized that he had dealt with Mallory on previous occasions and Mallory used the name of his brother Christopher Mallory to identify himself. Police then also learned that Jacquese Mallory was wanted out of Cook County, Illinois for Possession of Dangerous Drugs, and therefore wanted to extradite Mallory back to Chicago.
A further investigation alleges that Jacquese Mallory provided law enforcement with false information on several previous occasions in Storm Lake involving his arrests for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Open Container in January and February of this year.
Storm Lake Police charged Mallory with Domestic Assault Causing Bodily Injury, 2 counts of Tampering With Records, 2 counts of Identity Theft, 2 counts of Obstructing Prosecution, and 3 counts of Providing False Information to Law Enforcement . He was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail and held without bond pending disposition on his Storm Lake charges and extradition to Chicago, IL.
