State Funding Approved For Clay County Road Improvement

Des Moines, IA (KICD)–The Iowa Transportation Commission has allocated funding for a Clay County road improvement project.

Under the fiscal year 2015 Traffic Safety Improvement Program $500,000 of the $1.15 million needed to widen the shoulders on County Road B-24 and flatten four slopes from County Road M-50, east 4 miles, then south to the intersection with Highway 18 was approved. Clay County is responsible for the remainder of the funding needed for the B-24 project.
