Spirit Lake, IA (KICD)–The Spirit Lake City Council has picked a temporary home for when a new City Hall is constructed.
City Administrator Mark Stevens tells KICD News they will be moving to the former Sound and Speed building across Highway 71 to the north.
Stevens says they will likely relocate in late August.
The final reading of a water and sewer rate hike of 4 percent was approved.
The new rates are effective as of July 1st.
A 2 percent pay increase was also approved for city employees.
