Spencer, IA (KICD)–PreK-12 enrollment is up in the Spencer School District.
Superintendent Terry Hemann tells KICD News that preliminary estimates show they are up 31 students.
Overall enrollment in the district sits at 2,050 students with K-4 classes averaging a healthy 150 students.
The school board had a session at the old Reynolds Elementary Building prior to their regular meeting.
Hemann says they are most likely looking to use the space that the Reynolds building sits on adjacent to the high school.
In annual reorganizational business Bob Whittenburg was re-elected as Board President and Bill Zinn was selected to serve as Vice President of the board.
