Sioux Rapids, IA (KICD)–Sioux Central’s School Board is one-step closer to choosing an architectural firm for proposed upgrades to the district’s K-12 facility.
Superintendent Scott Williamson tells KICD News the board recently met with three firms who addressed three items including re-roofing the entire building.
WIlliamson says the district needs to construct a dry storage and walk-in cooler.
The final piece is adding a couple of rooms, one of which would also be considered a safe room.
The three firms being considered include FEH from Sioux City, TSP from Minnetonka, and Cannon, Moss, Brygger & Associates of Spencer. A special board meeting has been scheduled for September 4th at 7:00 pm to make a final decision.
