Des Moines, IA (KICD)–The Iowa Economic Development Authority board on Friday approved tax benefits for a pair of Shine Brothers projects.
Shine Brothers was awarded tax benefits for a $1.9 million capital investment project that includes building a research and development center to improve the quality and development of new products. This project is expected to create four jobs.
TJN Enterprises, a joint venture between Shine Bros Corp. of Spencer and Sioux City Compressed Steel of Sioux City, is also in line for tax benefits for its plans to construct a new building and install processing equipment in Spencer. This project is expected to create 16 jobs.
