Spencer, IA (KICD)–Two from Spencer have been charged with Dependant Adult Abuse.
Spencer Police arrested 33-year-old Jereamy Buettner and 26-year-old Elizabeth Johnson last Tuesday. They were processed and turned over to the Clay County jailer.
Hull. IA (KICD)–A Rock Valley man was arrested over the weekend following an assault that led to serious injuries.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated an assault that occurred at a residence on Chestnut Drive in Hull on Saturday evening. As a result ofthe altercation, a man sustained serious injuries and was transported to the Sioux Center Hospital by the Hull Ambulance. That person was later flown to Avera-McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls for further treatment of his injuries.
32-year-old Joel Gonzalez was later arrest for for willful injury and strangulation. The incident remains under investigation.
Spencer, IA (KICD)–Child endangerment charges have been levied by Spencer Police.
26-year-old Richard and 27-year-old Naomi Bustos were both charged with child endangerment on Sunday and booked into Clay County jail.
Spirit Lake, IA (KICD)–Two from Spirit Lake sustained possible injuries in a Friday afternoon accident.
The Spencer Police Department says 24-year-old Joshua Knutson of Terril was stopped behind 14-year-old Sammy Wedeking of Spirit Lake at a red light at the intersection of 11th Street Southwest and 4th Avenue Southwest shortly before 5:00 p.m. Knutson stated as the light turned green the cars ahead of Wedeking’s 2009 Chevy Aveo started moving. Knutson didn’t realize Wedeking hadn’t started moving and he rear-ended her with his 1992 Chevy Pickup.
Wedeking and her passenger, 52-year-old Pamela Wedeking, complained of neck pain. Spencer Ambulance responded but they refused treatment.
Spencer, IA (KICD)–A Spencer man was arrested last week.
Spencer Police say 21-year-old Brady Salberg was charged with forgery/credit cards. Salberg was booked into Clay County jail.
Estherville, IA (KICD)–Three were arrested following a late Saturday evening traffic stop by Estherville Police.
18-year-old John Leuer of Mallard was stopped for an equipment violation and officers detected an odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle. Upon further investigation officers located two open containers of alcohol, as well as drug paraphernalia in the passenger compartment.
Leuer was placed under arrest for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. A passenger, 18-year-oldJoshua Frederick of Emmetsburg, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and having an open container. Another passenger, 18-year-old Brody Metzger of Wallingford, was charged with an open container violation.
The three men were placed in the Emmet County Jail and released the following morning on an unsecured signature bond.
Sanborn, IA (KICD)–The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary to a maintenance shop at a hog confinement site located one and one half miles northwest of Sanborn on Redwing Avenue.
The burglary is believed to have occurred between last Tuesday afternoon and early last Wednesday morning. The suspects entered the locked shop and removed numerous DeWalt brand cordless tools, and Milwaukee and Snap On brand air tools.
The Crime Dusters program is offering a $350 reward to anyone who provides information on this crime that leads to the arrest and conviction of the offenders. Contact the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office with information.
