Alta, IA (KICD)–Four Storm Lake teens were injured in a Friday evening accident in Buena Vista County.

Sheriff Gary Launderville says the 911 dispatch came in shortly before 9:00 to County Road M-36 which is located two and a half mile north of C-49. It is believed that 16-year-old Anthony Talamantes of Lakeside was heading north when his car left the roadway and rolled several times before coming to a rest in the east ditch. Three of his four passengers were ejected.

16-year-olds Pathana Louangsouvannvong, Juan Morales, and Nathan Carlson, and 15-year-old Kuony Deng were all taken to Buena Vista Regional Medical Center with one of them later transferred to a Sioux City Hospital for further treatment. Talamantes was cited for failure to maintain control.

Alta Fire and Rescue and Buena Vista Regional Medical Center Paramedics assisted on scene.

Spencer, IA (KICD)–A wanted Spencer man was spotted outside of Malarky’s Night Club early Sunday morning.

29-year-old Allen Unseld was wanted on a warrant out of Buena Vista County charging him with Contempt of Court reference Going Armed With Intent, Rioting, and Assault With a Weapon.
Unseld was arrested by Storm Lake Police andbooked into the Buena VIsta County jail on an $8,766.22 bond..

Storm Lake, IA (KICD)–A Storm Lake man was arrested on an assault charge over the weekend.

Storm Lake Police were called to a home Saturday evening. The reporting party told police that he was assault by 30-year-old Nestor Turcios earlier in the night. The victim sustained minor injuries to his face during the assault but declined medical attention.
Turcios was located and charged with Assault Causing Injury. He was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a $1,000 cash bond.
