IRRMA Building New Museum

Milford, IA (KICD)–The Iowa Rock N’ Roll Music Association has a new museum in the works.

Executive Director Jenna Hardy Pederson tells KICD News that about two thirds of their collection is currently in storage due to a lack of space at their current 800 square foot Arnolds Park location.

Pederson says they are also looking at having an ampitheater outside of the 12,000 foot building.

Pederson says they will continue their partnership with Arnolds Park Amusement Park and will utilize the space as a satellite museum, will still have rock the roof events, and will hold their hall of fame ceremony there.

The Iowa Rock N’ Roll Music Association Hall of Fame Museum project is currently in the early stages of a three year timeline.
