Spencer, IA (KICD)–Tweens, teens, and uninsured or underinsured adults are invited to get a free Tdap vaccination this coming Thursday.
Collette Rossiter with Clay County Public Health tells KICD News that kids ages 11-17 are encouraged to get the vaccination.
A new Iowa law states that all incoming 7th graders now require a recent Tdap vaccination.
Uninsured or underinsured adults can also obtain a free vaccination.
Thursday’s free Tdap vaccination will take place from 5:00PM – 7:00PM in the rehab department at the Spencer Hospital and is located adjacent to the main lobby. No appointment is neccessary.
Those who cannot attend this Thursday are asked to contact Clay County Public Health at 264-6468 to make an appointment.
