Estherville Car Burglary Arrests
Estherville, IA (KICD) — Two people are arrested in a car burglary incident.
  Late Wednesday morning, Estherville Police received a complaint of a car burglary in the Dollar General parking lot.
Upon arrival it was determined that a female had removed 2 bags of groceries from the victim’s car while it was parked. The female then left the area in a white SUV, driven by a male.
  Upon further investigation Police were able to obtain the license plate on the suspect’s vehicle with the help of the victim, and put out an alert for the vehicle. Approximately 15 minutes later, a deputy and an Armstrong Police Officer located an SUV matching the description of the suspect’s vehicle at Casey’s in Armstrong. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the 2 suspects in the vehicle were the individuals responsible for the burglary.
As a result, 54-year old Clifta Sutton of Fairmont was charged with Burglary in the 3rd degree.  44-year old  Anthony McCallister of Sapula, Oklahoma, who was charged with Aiding and Abetting Burglary in the 3rd degree. Both individuals were booked into the Emmet County Jail, where Sutton is being held on a $2,000 cash bond.
The Estherville Police Department was also assisted by the Emmet County Sheriff’s Department.
